Fixing Printer That Jams Repeatedly

It is hard to fix a printer that is always jamming. There are times when you just want to hit it and be done with the matter. Sometimes people get so frustrated that they even want to go out and buy a new printer, just so they do not have to deal with paper jams. However, most do not realize that they are probably doing something that is causing the paper jams to occur. Printers are not flawed naturally, but if they are used improperly then they can result in having a lot of issues that can get severely annoying.

The most common reason for a repeated paper jams is that you are putting too much paper inside the tray. This means it is overflowing, and when you try to print a document two or three papers get taken in at once instead of one, and that causes a jam in the printout and ruins everything. This is easily fixable, just put in less papers and be more willing to add new paper when that finishes. Do not just shove every paper you have into the tray, which is going to cause problems.

Another way to prevent paper jams is to make sure you are using the right paper. Your paper may be bent or old or being re used. Sometimes bent paper can get stuck when it prints and that causes a paper jam. These are easy things you can do to fix a paper jam.

However, sometimes it is not your fault that a paper jam keeps happening. It could be a problem within the printer. This is fixable as well. You just need to open the tray and make sure everything is in the right place. Sometimes something gets a bit loose and causes paper jams. Other times the printer is dusty and dirty and a good clean can prevent paper jams in the future. Watch this Youtube video below and you will know what to do to fix a paper jam.
