| STEP 1: | This tutorial will explain how to insert (instead of attach) an email quip into an email written using the Outlook Express email client. Older versions of the Outlook Express software will operate similarly. The email quips are best shown in the top-right corner of an email. Open Outlook Express and Create an email. As shown in the picture below, click on Insert -> Picture. Scroll down to STEP 2. |

| STEP 2: | A Picture dialog opens. Use the [ Browse ] button to locate the email quip you wish to add. In "Layout->Alignment" choose right. Click [ Ok ] button. Scroll down to STEP 3. |

| STEP 3: | Type your email message as you normally would. Check the "Format->Send Pictures with Messages" is checked. Click "Send" to send the email. To see what your email will look like to the reader, scroll down to STEP 4. |
